Step 1 - Initial Briefing with Client
Gather background information.
Identify situation.
Define goals/agree roles of those involved (e.g. manager, HR, participant, coach/mentor).
Step 2 - Select Coach/Mentor
Match background.
Profile.
Chemistry check.
Step 3 - First Meeting
Develop joint agreement between coach/mentor and participant.
Define confidentiality requirements.
Plan first session.
Step 4 - Session 1
Agree goals of the session.
Use of appropriate tools and techniques.
Develop action plan.
Step 5 - Further Coaching Sessions
Continued use of a variety of tools and techniques.
Step 6 - Interim Review
Evaluate progress.
Adjust plan if necessary.
Step 7 - Further Coaching Sessions
Continued use of a variety of tools and techniques.
Step 8 - Final Session & Review
Evaluate outcomes against goals.
Agree future actions.
